Ingredients

Wildcrafted. Seasonal. Patiently Prepared.

At House of Enfleurage, every ingredient is chosen not just for its scent or skin benefit — but for its story, its timing, and the place it comes from.

We gather much of our plant material by hand from the forests, meadows, and slopes of Tiger Mountain. These are ingredients that grow wild, not farmed. We harvest them in small amounts, always with care, always in season. Nothing here is rushed or standardized — because nature isn’t either. We also tend a large garden to have wonderful blooms like rose and peony.

Our ingredients are infused, tinctured, or enfleuraged using time-honored methods. That means:

🍯 Botanical Bases & Carriers

Every oil in our formulas is chosen for its benefit, feel, and botanical integrity. These aren’t just carriers — they’re active, nourishing, and full of character.

Jojoba Oil

Technically a wax, not a true oil — jojoba is deeply skin-compatible, non-greasy, and incredibly stable. We use it as the base for many of our perfume oils and facial blends.

Sea Buckthorn Oil
Vibrant and golden, this oil is rich in antioxidants and omega-7 — known for calming inflammation and restoring balance to stressed or dry skin. We use it in our most reparative blends.

Evening Primrose Oil

Delicate and deeply moisturizing, evening primrose helps soothe skin that's dry, sensitive, or maturing. It brings a velvet-like texture to our body oils and balm bases.

Sweet Almond Oil

Light, nourishing, and gentle — sweet almond oil offers softness and glide without heaviness. Perfect for body oils and gentle skin treatments.

Infused Oils (Wildcrafted)

We often infuse our base oils with wild plants — like fir tips, cedar, blackberry leaf, or lilac — using slow, sun-steeped methods. These botanical infusions carry not just the properties of the plant, but its scent and seasonal story.

💧 Other Elements

Beeswax – used in enfleurage and solid perfumes

Raw Local Honey - from nearby hives in the Pacific Northwest — often blackberry blossom or wildflower. Honey is naturally humectant, drawing moisture into the skin, and is rich in gentle enzymes. It brings softness and radiance to our face masks and seasonal body treatments.

Grain Alcohol – for botanical tinctures and perfume bases

Hydrosols – sometimes distilled in-house or sourced from trusted growers

Essential Oils – used sparingly, and only from whole-plant, naturally extracted sources

Tinctures & Absolutes - made from forest bark, flowers, or fungi
